The tech guru (and funny guy) of the group, AJ has proven himself to be creative, determined, and resourceful. He likes to apply these skills in figuring out and implementing new ways to handle processes by taking advantage of the ever-changing and improving world of application software and technology.
A Salisbury University graduate, AJ was attracted to the accounting profession due to its notoriety as the language of business. He enjoys gaining insight into how different companies and industries operate; yet despite their differences, so many of the same principles are applied throughout. He is not afraid to think outside of the box when it comes to challenging the status quo if he thinks it can lead to an improved process for a company.
AJ is known around the firm as a diehard Philadelphia sports fan, despite growing up in six different states and Japan! When he is not watching a game, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé, family, and friends by taking road trips, watching movies, taking long walks on the beach, and occasionally getting caught in the rain (we told you he is the funny guy).
Priding herself on her reliability, Margie is an incredibly responsible, hardworking member of the team. A graduate of Pierce Junior College, Margie has spent 27 years in the accounting industry and is the resident payroll tax and Peachtree software expert.
Margie was drawn to the accounting profession due to her love of numbers. She appreciates the aspect of being able to see the accounting process for a business from start (providing the day-to-day back office support for the client) to finish (finalizing the financials for the year and assisting with the beginning phases of the tax return). Margie is extremely dedicated to her clients who are grateful for her superb communication skills.
Outside of the firm, Margie enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and three kids: whether they are going to the beach or watching sports. Apart from her accounting expertise, Margie is the Philadelphia Phillies encyclopedia—ask her a fact and she will know it!
